A Christian parenting ministry led and founded by Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo. Growing Kid's God's Way is the flagship curriculum of the ministry and the classes are generally taught in small groups. If married, husband and wife should both attend the classes together. The main instruction is via a DVD lesson with teaching by Gary Ezzo and a wrap up with Gary and Anne Marie--as well as a question and answer session. Ideally, classes will allow additional discussion time and a review of homework including reading and practical application of the biblical principles learned in class. Evangeline and I have been blessed by the Ezzos' teaching and by their friendship. We have taught the various classes for over fourteen years and watched many families transformed from the biblical principles so clearly taught and applied. We highly recommend the materials produced by GFI. A Christian parenting ministry founded by Joey and Carla Link, GFI national ministry overseerers. MomsNotes.com is a resource for parents, specifically designed for those that have been through the Growing Families Int'l parenting material, particularly Growing Kids God's Way. For more information about what the Mom's Notes are and where they came from, check out the 'About Us' page on their website. There are a wide variety of Mom's Notes teaching CDs that are geared towards specific parenting issues, broken down at each child's age level. Since the Mom's Notes can be purchased both individually and in packages, the 'Using Mom's Notes' page on the website provides a map with recommendations on where to begin, how the Mom's Notes are packaged, and age appropriate presentations. Also, the Mom's Notes Bookstore offers a wide variety of products for parents and children that include children's books, devotionals, encouragement for parents, other parenting resources and the Mom's Notes.

We have used the Mom's Notes series extensively in our parenting and highly recommend them to anyone whom has gone through Growing Kid's God's way or other GFI parenting material. Evangeline has them all on her MP3 player and listens while she's walking in the mornings.

One of the best series available on the husband and wife relationship by Emerson and Sarah Eggerich. Expanding on Eph. 5:33, their approach is refreshing and convicting with a healthy dose of laughter as they navigate though the male/female communication dynamics. Voted 2007 Book of the Year for Family Christian Years. We recommend the DVDs. Emerson is an extremely gifted speaker and you totally miss that dynamic in the book.
